Health Guarantee

We guarantee our puppies until one year of age against life threatening defects of the hips, elbows, eyes and/or heart. If your puppy is diagnosed by a board certified specialist as being affected within one year of birth for hip dysplasia, progressive retinal atrophy (PRA of the eyes), and/or atrial septal defect (ASD of the heart), or any other life-threatening disease; we will take back the puppy if desired.  We will not ask you to ever return your pet in order for this part of the contract to be fulfilled. At our discretion, we will either replace it with a puppy from a similar litter or return your purchase price.

What's Not Covered

​

 We cannot guarantee our puppies against illness or parasites brought on by stress, such as moving (from our house to yours). However, these are easily and economically treated and should be discussed with your veterinarian at your first visit.

We are not responsible if a puppy contracts a communicable disease or infection after leaving our possession. Also, this Health Guarantee does not include improper bites, hernias, dewclaw, worms, and/or any illness due to the ingestion of foreign objects, food, chemicals, or physical injury.

We recommend but don't require you to spay or neuter your puppy after 6 months of age.  You should consult with your veterinarian to determine the most appropriate age for this recommended surgical procedure.
